Student room with a host family

Only Student room academic year 2025-2026, preferably we rent out semi-annually to exchange students or Erasmus students. The room is located in the region of Ghent, Lochristi. You are 12 km from Ghent. There is a bus stop in front of the door that makes a direct connection via line 78 to Sint-Amandsberg, Gent-Dampoort, Zuid, Heuvelpoort and Gent-Sint-Pieters. There is also a direct train connection via the station of Beervelde that you can easily reach by bike (10 minutes). By train you are in 10 minutes at the station of Gent-Dampoort and in 20 minutes at Gent Sint-Pieters. By bus you can also go to the station of Lokeren (15 minutes). For the sporty person there is the cycle highway F4. You can also cycle to Lochristi center where several buses stop. Three of our daughters studied in Ghent and could reach their campuses without any problems. Direct bus connection to: Campus Sint-Amandsberg Campus Kantienberg Campus Kattenberg Campus Leeuwstraat Campus Sint-Annaplein Site Ledeganck Site Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat/Blandijn Site Overpoort Campus Sterre Other campuses via one transfer or by train + bus or tram The room is located in the owners' house, you are a guest there. So it is a different way of life than a student in a room in the city. The kitchen and bathroom are shared and kept tidy out of respect for each other. We are also climate-conscious, we use energy sparingly. If you are social, open-minded, like a family atmosphere, like peace and quiet and want to concentrate on your studies, then this accommodation is ideal. The room is rented out semi-annually with a possible extension until the end of the academic year. There is a pet present. We speak Dutch, French, English and a little Spanish.
