Spacious room on the 1st floor of a characterful townhouse on the inner ring of Leuven (Tiensevest), 500m from the train station and within walking distance of Leuven city center. The room has an average ceiling height of 3.2m, with an authentically preserved ceiling finish. Modern lighting and ceiling-high windows ensure the room is beautifully lit at any time of the day. The private bathroom is located on the third floor and is equipped with a sink, cabinet, shower, and toilet. The room contains a large built-in wardrobe, a double bed, a sofa, and a desk/table. Additionally, there is a breakfast nook (with a bar table, refrigerator, sink with drainer, and storage space). There is a bicycle parking area on the ground floor. The shared kitchen is located on the 3rd floor and is shared with three other students. The communal kitchen includes a refrigerator, induction hobs, extractor hood, sink with drainer, and microwave oven, as well as a table with 4 dining chairs. This room is rented according to the "kotmadam" principle. In this specific situation, the landlords themselves live on the ground and first floors, and a total of 4 rooms are rented out on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors. This room is located on the 1st floor and is directly adjacent to the landlords’ office (with their bedroom behind it). On the ground floor, there is a shared garage that serves as bicycle storage and waste disposal. Although the tenants have their own rooms, sanitary facilities, and kitchen, the hallway and garage are shared with the landlords. Therefore, we are looking for students who want to enjoy this charming house with us in a respectful manner. We offer quiet and luxurious rooms in a pleasant neighborhood of Leuven, with Martelarenplein and Ladeuzeplein just around the corner, and for those who enjoy nature, Park Abbey is only 1.3km away. For this particular room, we offer a 10-month contract. Rent: €800 (including all costs) Pets not allowed. Rental deposit: 2 months.
