Are you studying in Charleroi and looking to live surrounded by nature in a shared place close to your school? Come join the Blanchisserie House in Gerpinnes! You’ll have the entire space of the caravan to yourself: it’s an isolated, heated, and comfortable place where others have already stayed for a year. The accommodation includes: - Outdoor covered kitchen to enjoy the garden - Composting toilet - Outdoor hot shower (in winter, showers are taken in the owner's house) - Hotplate, fridge, kettle... - Water storage (potable water available 10 meters away) - Electricity - Heating - Nordic bath - Terrace - Bike shelter - As for wifi, to be honest, it’s not great in the caravan, but you’ll have access to the house for work. If needed, a desk can be set up for you. Where is the accommodation located? In the garden of the Blanchisserie House, the caravan is the third living space. Your entrance is completely independent and separate from the other residents. What is the Blanchisserie House? It’s an “eco-place” that hosts various activities to create social connections and help people reconnect with nature. We are 5 residents: two activity leaders, a baker’s apprentice (sourdough bread), a yoga teacher, and an architecture student. We respect everyone’s space while nurturing solidarity among us. You will feel at home and, of course, can invite your friends. If you would like to get involved in the project, your ideas are welcome and the space is available to you! Interested? Come and visit!
